How it works

Make a board
Press New board. A blank board opens at once. You do not sign in.

Share the link
Press Share and send the link. Anyone with the link can draw on the board.

Draw together
You see the changes and the pointers of other people live. The board saves by itself.
Private by design
The link has a secret key after the # sign. A browser never sends that part to a server. Your browser uses the key to encrypt the board before it leaves your device. The server keeps only encrypted data and cannot read your board.
Anyone who has the full link can see the board and change it. Share the link only with people you trust.

What is Whiteboard?
Whiteboard is a free page where you draw with hand-drawn shapes, arrows and text. You can draw with other people at the same time.
Do I need an account?
No. You make a board and share the link. Nobody signs in.
Who can see my board?
Anyone who has the full link can see the board and change it. Share the link only with people you trust.
Can the server read my board?
No. Your browser encrypts the board before it sends it. The key is in the part of the link after the # sign. A browser never sends that part to a server.
How long does a board stay?
A board stays for 90 days after the last change. Then the server deletes it. Each change starts the 90 days again.
Can I save my drawing as a picture?
Yes. Open the menu and choose Export image. You can save a PNG file or an SVG file.
What if I lose the link?
Nobody can open the board without the key. We cannot find the key for you. Save the link. This device also lists the boards you opened.
